Report Sets
Report sets control how the 3D model is presented in printed reports. They allow the selection of specific perspectives, views, and display modes to create tailored visual documentation of packaging objects.
How to Create Report Sets
- Choose the
icon, enter BOM Calc. Template, and then choose the related link. - Open the desired BOM Calculation Template card.
- Choose the 3D Report Set action.
- A list opens where multiple report sets can be created.
- Add lines to the report set to define each image in the report.
When printing the report, the available report sets are presented for selection.
Report Set Line Settings
Each line in a report set defines one image in the printed report. The following fields control how each image appears.
Component Type
The Component Type field specifies which side of the 3D model is in focus for the image. For example, selecting Bottom directs the perspective toward the bottom side of the object.
Available component types for report images:

| Bottom | Shows the underside of the object |
| Lid | Shows the top side of the object |
| Sides | Shows the left and right sides |
| Front | Shows the front face |
| Back | Shows the rear face |
| Presentation | A view showing the entire object in perspective projection |
| Orthographic Presentation | A flat projection view showing the entire object without perspective distortion |
Tip
For Presentation component types, the Layer Index values can be used to control whether the Showroom option is applied and whether the object appears colored.
Visibility Type
The Visibility Type field defines which components are shown and which are hidden in the image.

| Focused | Shows only the focused component type, hiding all other parts of the object. |
| Inverted | Hides the focused component type and shows all other parts. |
| Show All | Displays the complete object with all components visible. |
Perspective
The Perspective field specifies the viewing direction relative to the focused component.

| Inside | Views the focused component from inside the object. |
| Outside | Views the focused component from outside the object. |
Material Type
The Material Type field controls the visual rendering style of the components.

| Standard | Displays components with solid colored surfaces. |
| Wireframe | Displays components as transparent wireframe outlines, showing the structural edges only. |
Layer Index
The Layer Index field defines which layers of the component are visible in the image. Layers are counted from the outside inward. Lower layers remain visible, so increasing the layer index shows more of the component.
For example, setting the layer index to 1 shows only the outermost layer, while setting it to 2 shows both the first and second layers.
Image Position
The Image Position field determines the placement of the image in the printed report.

| Body | Places the image in the main body of the report. Body images are printed sequentially. |
