acadon PPWR
acadon PPWR is an acadon product based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The app provides the absolute minimum users need to maintain the master data and setup required for the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).
Some of the key features are:
- A central list of PPWR materials with the standardized material identification codes according to EU Decision 97/129/EC
- A guided assisted setup that creates the default materials with a single click
- PPWR classification fields on items, item variants and item categories (material, recyclability, substance restriction and risk assessment)
Note
The full functional scope is under development. The EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) applies from 12 August 2026. We therefore recommend that you start now with the master data setup described here — it forms the basis for the upcoming features. By that date we will deliver the full functional scope, which lets you create and manage the technical documentation as well as the EU declaration of conformity and — for packaging components — the component declaration of conformity.
