BOM Calculation Template List

The Bill Of Material (BOM) Calculation Template is the heart of the configuration. In this template the packaging material (box, crate, pallet, ...) is configured so that it can be used later in sales documents. A calculation template consists of header information, Property, Variables and rows.

In the following we will explain the functions of the ribbon and the information in the "General" and "Lines" tabs.

How to create your own BOM Calculation Template

  1. Search for BOM calculation template list by using the global search.
  2. Now click on New in the opening window.
  3. Now assign a name in the Code field for your BOM Calculation Template.
  4. Now the template can be set up for the needs.

In the header, in addition to the description, the calculation type and the calculation formulas can be specified. The calculation type allows the selection between the values Calculate Inside, Calculate Outside and Calculate from Packing Good. Depending on the calculation type selected, calculation formulas can then be entered in the fields provided. When calculating external or internal dimensions, the formulas for calculating the length, width and height from the length, width and height of the other dimension must be entered. When calculating according to the packaged goods dimension, on the other hand, the formulas for calculating both the outer dimension and the inner dimension must be entered.
