Post a Cutting Order
The function Post is a feature within the cutting orders. It can be accessed via actions in the header. After posting, a cutting order consumption (outflow) and a cutting order output (inflow) would be generated in the item ledger entries.
Quick Finish
The function Quick Finish is a feature within the cutting orders. It can be accessed via actions in the header. Once a cutting order is finished quickly, the status of cutting order would be changed to finished and all cutting order consumption (outflow) and cutting order output (inflow) would be generated in the item ledger entries.
Partial Posting
The Partial Posting function allows you to post a cutting order step by step without completing it. This is useful when cutting takes place over several shifts or days and partial quantities need to be posted to inventory.
The system posts only the quantities entered in the Quantity to Post and Units to Post fields in the input and output lines or their associated dimension lines. After posting, these values are reset to 0 and the remaining quantities are recalculated.

Note
The quantities to post must be entered before partial posting. If no line contains a Quantity to Post greater than 0, posting is canceled with the message There is nothing to post.
After confirmation, the corresponding item ledger entries are created. The cutting order remains in Released status so that additional partial postings are possible until the order is fully posted and finished.
