Needs
The Get Needs function is available on the input lines of a cutting order. It determines the demand for components from production orders and transfers the selected needs to the cutting order as input lines.
Note
A released production order that contains the item as a component is required.
After you run the function, an overview of the determined needs opens. The following table describes its fields:

| Thickness | Thickness of the required component. |
| Diameter | Diameter of the required component, for round timber. |
| Piece | Number of units required by the production order. |
| Quantity | Quantity required by the production order. |
| Prod. Order No. | Production order the demand originates from. |
Confirm the selected lines with OK to transfer them to the cutting order as input lines.
