Dynamic Setup

The dynamic report setup allows you to customize standard reports without modifying the report layout itself. You can add, remove, or reorder field information that is printed on documents. This setup is performed directly in the Business Central interface.

The available information depends on the document type - fields that cannot be printed are automatically hidden. You can also create table relationships to reference specific fields from related tables. For example, you can specify the table ""Contacts"" and narrow it down to the field ""Post Code"". Additionally, you can define the scope of the setup, such as applying it only to specific item groups.

Packaging Reports

In addition to the standard Timber reports, the following packaging-specific reports are available:

How to Initialize the Packaging Reports

  1. Choose the Search icon, enter Timber Report Setup, and then choose the related link.
  2. Expand the actions under Process.
  3. Use the Initialize Setup action to create the standard Timber reports.
  4. Use the Add Missing Packaging Setup action to add the packaging-specific reports listed above.
