Send notifications about upcoming deliveries
If the Azure Maps Integration Module has been activated, it is possible to notify the individual recipients shortly before delivery. The pre-calculated estimated arrival times are used to send the mail on time. This feature can be customized for each customer and vendor, respectively.
Send notifications about upcoming deliveries automatically
There are two ways to enable the automatic emails to notify about upcoming deliveries. You can set it up individually for each customer and vendor or set it up for all customers and vendors at once.
Enable automatic notifications about upcoming deliveries for all customers and vendors
- Choose the
icon, enter OnRoute Setup, and then choose the related link.
- Use the Enable Send Upcoming Delivery Mail action to enable the feature for all customers and vendors.
Customize automatic notifications about upcoming deliveries per customer
- Choose the
icon, enter Customers, and then choose the related link.
- Open the relevant Customer card.
- Navigate to the Disposition FastTab.
- Here you find the Upcoming Delivery Mail field. Define the contact that will receive the notification to enable it for each Customer individually.
Tip
By default Sell-to Contact is selected, other options include Dispatch Information and Purchaser.
Customize automatic notifications about upcoming deliveries per vendor
- Choose the
icon, enter Vendors, and then choose the related link.
- Open the relevant Vendor card.
- Navigate to the Disposition FastTab.
- Here you find the Send Upcoming Delivery Mail field. Activate this so that the vendor receives an email about the upcoming deliveries.
