Redesigned the internal permission set structure and added a new teammember permission set
To make the setup of team member users (or in on premise scenarios limited users) easier a Team Member permission set has been added.
The permission set includes all tables which were defined in the timber (on prem) license as limited user tables.
Addtionally, the structure of all pre-defined permission sets were revised, so that each module within Timber now has it's own permission set.
Details
The Team Member permission set can be used as well in business central online, but includes access to more tables than 15 (which is the max. number of tables a team member user can have write access to per session).
Futhermore the internal permission set structure in Timber has been changed.
Each module now has it's own permission sets, separated into the three areas View, Edit, Setup:
- <Module>Setup.Permissionset.al
- <Module>Edit.Permissionset.al
- <Module>View.Permissionset.al
The in Timber pre-defined permission sets are now composed of the module permission sets, whichs allows to easily exclude complete modules in user-defined permission sets.
For information about the pre-defined permission sets, see the new docs page:
