Route Calendar
The Route Calendar is a part of the route planning module. The add-in implements a graphical interface which is designed to plan routes per drag and drop functionality in a weekly calendar.
Note
In order to interact with the Route Calendar, you need to have write permissions for the ACAT Route Allocation Header table. If you don't have this permission, the calendar won't be editable.
To fine tune the order selection
- Choose the , enter Disposition Planning Code, and then choose the related link.
- Select the record with Code 'ACAT-DISPO'.
- Edit the filters to your needs.
Important
To use the Route Calendar functionality, there has to be at least one tour vehicle setup.
To open the Route Calendar for a Sales Order
- Choose the , enter Sales Order, and then choose the related link.
- Select a Sales Order and choose the Edit Action.
- Select the drilldown button for field Requested Delivery Date or Required Shipment CW.
- The Route Calendar will open with the current order.
To open the Route Calendar from the Route Allocation
- Choose the , enter Route Allocation, and then choose the related link.
- Select a record that needs to be planned.
- Choose the Open Route Calendar Action.
- The Route Calendar will open at the week of the selected Route Allocation.
To open the Route Calendar globally
- Choose the , enter Route Calendar, and then choose the related link.
- The Route Calendar will open at the current week.
To create a new Route Allocation
- Open the Route Calendar in any of the above mentioned way.
- Navigate to the day where the Route Allocation should be created.
- Choose the vehicle for which the route is planned and click the plus sign.
To plan an order
- Open the Route Calendar in any of the above mentioned way.
- Navigate to the day the order should be delivered.
- Create a new Route Allocation for the day and vehicle if needed.
- Move the order via drag and drop to the Route Allocation.
Note
The documents on the left side of the Route Calendar are calculated using the Disposition Planning Code.
On the Disposition Planning Code 'ACAT-DISPO' some filters can be applied to the selection of documents.
When the Route Calendar is opened directly from a sales order, the order is available anyways.
