Editor Text Block

The editor text block module provides a WYSIWYG-editor for printing texts on reports.

Enable the module

  1. Choose the Search icon, enter acadon Module Management, and then choose the related link.
  2. Select the text editor module.
  3. Select the Enable check box.

Set up default editor text blocks

Default editor text blocks are texts that are by default printed on documents. These documents can be filtered by document type (quote, order, invoice, credit memo, blanket and return order), department (sales, purchase and inventory) and for specific positions (header, footer, position, execution) in the reports, as header, position, footer.

  1. Choose the Search icon, enter Editor - Text Block Setup, and then choose the related link.
  2. Choose the Default Editor - Text Block action.
  3. Add a new line or edit one of the predefined lines.

Set up an editor text block for specific documents

It is possible to set the editor text block on a single document.

  1. Choose the Search icon, enter Sales Order, and then choose the related link.

    Note

    The editor text block can be used on any sales, purchase or inventory document.

  2. Select and open the relevant document.

  3. Choose the Sales Editor - Text Block action.

  4. Choose the New action, for any position, add and save the text that should be printed.

  5. Print the report and verify if the text is as desired.

    Important

    For the correct printing of editor texts, the timber specific reports have to be selected in the report selection.
