Set up Purchase Length Dividing

Purchase Length Dividing provides a setup which helps to create and control blanket purchase orders for items with different lengths.

To use Purchase Length Dividing, start by setting it up as follows.

Set up Purchase Length Dividing

  1. Choose the Search icon, enter Purchase Length Dividing Code, and then choose the related link.
  2. On the Purchase Length Dividing Code page, choose the New action.
  3. Enter a code and a description.
  4. In the Dividing Method field, choose the drop-down arrow and select a dividing method. The options are:
    • Percentage: Percentages can be entered manually for each length.
    • Equal: The division is the same for all lengths.
  5. Choose the Length Dividing Lines action.
  6. Create new lines and add values for the Length Code, Length Unit of Measure Code and Percentage fields.
