Phys. Inventory Additions in Timber

Phys. inventory orders is an important feature of standard business central. With Timber there a some additional features that can be used to make the process more efficient. To read more about the phys. inventory orders in standard business central, see here.

Phys. Inventory Additions

  • Difference %: This field is used to calculate the difference between the counted quantity and the expected quantity. The difference is calculated as a percentage of the expected quantity. When the Phys. Inventory Order is set to finished, the difference percentage is calculated and displayed in the Difference % field.
  • Sorting By Sales Order No.: When creating new Phys. Inventory Recordings the created recording can be sorted to sales order. This makes it easier to relate to which sales order the recording is related to.
  • Unit Volume: The unit volume is used to calculate the volume of the item. The volume is calculated as the quantity multiplied by the unit volume. The volume is displayed in the Unit Volume field.
  • Vendor Order No.: The vendor order number is used to relate the recording to a specific vendor order. This makes it easier to relate the recording to a specific vendor order. This applies to only sundry items.
  • Vendor Shipment No.: The vendor shipment number is used to relate the recording to a specific vendor shipment. This makes it easier to relate the recording to a specific vendor shipment. This applies to only sundry items.
  • Item Reference No.: The item reference no. is automatically filled when the Phys. Inventory Order is created. The information is taken from the Item Reference table. This makes it easier to relate the recording to a specific items which are labled with for example a barcode.
