Photos and Documents

In the Photos & Documents section, your customers can view photos of packing goods, packages, or containers as well as other documents such as drawings or certificates. Documents are synchronised from Business Central via the doc.box.

Browsing Photos

In the Photos section, all associated photos are displayed in a gallery view. The full-text search and optional project filter allow targeted searching. Clicking a photo displays it in full size.

Browsing and Downloading Documents

In the Documents section, customers can search for documents using the full-text search and download them directly.

Downloading All Documents as ZIP

Via the Download All action, all displayed documents can be downloaded as a ZIP file. The download respects the current search and filter settings.

Note

If the Packaging Portal ZIP Archive Paths feature is enabled, path segments can be defined in the portal administration to sort documents into subfolders within the ZIP file.

Sharing Documents Anonymously

If the Packaging Portal Anonymous Document Sharing feature is enabled, portal users can share documents via an anonymous download link with people who do not have portal access.

The process in the portal:

1. In the Photos or Documents section, filter by project or search terms as needed.
2. Select the Share action.
3. An anonymous download link is generated and remains active for 14 days from creation.

Managing Shared Links

The Shared Links widget on the dashboard lists all share links created by the respective user. Links created by other users are not visible.

The following actions are available for each link:

• Revoke — The link becomes invalid immediately. The recipient can no longer access the documents.
• Restore — A revoked or expired link is reactivated (14 days from restoration).
• Copy — The download link is copied to the clipboard again.
• Details — Shows the status, remaining validity, and contained documents.
