Packing Good, packet and parcel transfer between locations

During stock transfer, packaged goods (or packaging materials/parcels) can be relocated between storage locations.

Using the Transfer module in the app

To start the transfer in 'acadon_mobile', the barcode of the Packing Good (or parcels/ packages) to be transferred is first scanned.

The barcode can be found on the Packing Good label (or on the other label-types).

This is followed by the physical relocation. In the next fields that appear in the app, the new location code and the new bin (if available and necessary) to which the Packing Goods (or the other materials) have been relocated must be entered or scanned.

Note

If a scan is not possible, e.g. because the barcode on the document is defective, the document number can also be entered manually.

Prerequisites in Business Central

No prerequisite is required for the transfer between locations in Business Central - except that the locations and, if applicable, bins exist. The new location is written directly into the Packing Good, etc.

No Transfer Order is required for this in BC.
