General information about Route Allocation
With the help of the module Route Allocation
, the loading of the packaged goods/packaging materials planned for a tour can be checked and counter-confirmed directly during loading with the help of a MDE device.
A prerequisite for the Route Allocation
is that it has been generated in BC beforehand. The more precise the entries are (if necessary, plate number, etc.), the more precisely an assignment can be made to the vehicle to be loaded.
Note
Missing data, e.g. information about driver and vehicle, can also be entered subsequently in BC in the Route Allocation
. These are transferred to the MDE device afterwards.
Handling of the Route Allocation Module
When opening the module, all planned tours are displayed. By opening a Route Allocation
the goods that have to be loaded are displayed.
If now the data record for the packing material is opened, the packing material number, which is on the packing material, is scanned afterwards.
Once all the packaging materials that have been loaded have also been scanned, confirming the Finish
button ends the process. The information is transferred back to the Route Allocation
and also to the sales lines of the related sales order in Business Central.
Note
The delivery of the sales lines is not automatic. The posting of the delivery must be done manually afterwards.
