Packaging Receipt

The Packaging Receipt module offers the possibility to record the goods receipts of Packing Goods with the MDE device.

Setup

To be able to use this function, the module must be set up in the profiles. The following steps are necessary:

  1. Search for acadon mobile setup with 🔍.
  2. Open Profiles in the actions.
  3. Select the line of the corresponding profile.
  4. Click New in the actions.
  5. Click on the arrow in the field Module Name.
  6. Select the module Packaging Receipt.

Use in Business Central

After a Packaging Receipt has been carried out with the acadon_mobile app, the corresponding details are entered in the Packaging Receipt lines. The 'Registered (MDE)' field in the packaging receipt lines indicates that this Packing Goods has been registered by the Packaging Receipt module. Once all packing goods have been registered in the Packaging Receipt, the status in the header changes to Finished.

Use in acadon_mobile

The following steps are necessary to register a Packaging Receipt of a Packing Goods:

  1. Select the Packaging Receipt module via the menu in the acadon_mobile app.
  2. A list of all available Packing Goods receipts opens.
  3. Select the corresponding Packaging Receipt here or search for it by entering it in the Scan... field.
  4. Search with 🔍.
  5. The list of all Packing Goods from the Packaging Receipt now opens.
  6. Select the corresponding Packing Goods by clicking on the Packing Goods No.
  7. An overview of the dimensions and description of the Packing Goods opens. These can be customised.
  8. The Packaged goods type can be changed in the Packaged goods type field.
  9. The length definition can be changed in the Length field.
  10. The width definition can be changed in the Width field.
  11. The height definition can be adjusted in the Height field.
  12. The weight can be changed in the Weight field.
  13. In the IPPC field, the IPPC certification can be changed by ticking the checkbox.
  14. The description can be customised in the Description field.
  15. In the Description 2 field, description 2 can be customised.
  16. In the field Dangerous Goods Code you can specify whether and which dangerous goods the Packing Goods contain.
  17. Confirm the entry with Next.
  18. Further Packing Goods can now be registered.
  19. Confirm with Finish.
  20. The Photo documentation now opens, allowing possible damage to be logged.
  21. Confirm with Complete.
Note

It is possible to register new Packing Goods No.. To do this, the new Packing Goods No. must be scanned or entered manually in the Scan... field in step 6. The rest of the process remains unchanged.
