Personalizing the Role Center
Role Centers and other pages in Business Central can be personalized to match individual needs. Personalization can be applied at the user level or company-wide by an administrator.
Company-Wide Customization
Administrators can customize a Role Center for all users assigned to a specific profile.
- Choose the
icon, enter Profiles (Roles), and then choose the related link. - Select the profile to customize.
- Choose Customize Pages to open the customization mode.
In the customization mode, the following options are available:
- Add or remove actions from the navigation bar and action bar.
- Show or hide content such as cue groups, reports, and pre-filtered lists.
- Rearrange elements by dragging and dropping actions, content groups, and quick access items.
- Set quick access favorites to add frequently used pages to the navigation bar.
Individual Personalization
Individual users can personalize their own Role Center without affecting other users. The same customization options are available through the personalization mode on any page.
Note
Individual personalizations take priority over company-wide customizations.
