Colli planning

Colli Planning is a supporting tool designed to facilitate the planning of packing goods within individual collies. Remarkably, colli planning excels without the necessity for an existing package configuration.

The colli planning can be initiated and accessed within the sales order through the Colli Planning action or by utilizing the Packaging Details factbox.

Note

It is only possible to have one singular colli planning for each sales order.

If pre-configured packages exist in the order, they will be integrated into the colli planning as collies. Alternatively, it is also possible to simply create new collies. The fields Description and Planning Date are informative in this context. The Item No. is required to generate corresponding sales lines upon accepting the planning.

Assignment of Packing Goods

In the Packing Goods to plan factbox, it is possible to quickly assess the progress of the planning at a glance. The assignment of packaging goods is carried out through the Assign Content action. In the presented overview, you can assign packaging goods to collies using a drag & drop interface.

In addition to packaging goods, it is also possible to allocate default packing materials and routings. Additional information regarding the setup: Default Packing Materials

Utilizing the Configurator simplifies the calculation of additional material and services.

Accept Planning

When colli planning and assignment of packing goods are finished, the plan can be accepted by clicking on Accept Planning action. This action automatically generates a sales line for each colli in the associated sales order. This is only feasible if an item number has been specified.

When a packing order is created from the sales order, the colli planning is considered for the distribution of packing goods. Further details on the packing order can be found here.

Reversing of Colli Planning Lines

With the new acadon module "Undo Colli Planning" it is now possible to reset Colli Planning Lines. A new function “Undo Planning Line” has been added to the Colli Planning Lines page. The new function allows for resetting the Colli Planning Line, enabling it to be reversed and subsequently re-planned and accepted.

The reset process varies based on the status of the Package used in the Colli Planning Line:

  1. If the Package is planned and there is no open Packing Order, the Colli Planning Line is reset, the Package is closed and the associated Parcel No. Information is deleted.
  2. If there is an open Packing Order for the planned Package, the line for the Package is deleted. If this was the only line in the Packing Order, the order will be deleted.
  3. If the Package is already available, the Colli Planning is reset and the link between production and Sales Order is removed. The Package can still be used for other processes.
  4. If the Package is already packed and a Posted Packing Order exists, the Colli Planning Line is reset and the link between production and Sales Order is removed. The Posted Packing Order is canceled if only the Package from the Colli Planning Line was used in the Packing Order. Otherwise, a partial cancelation for the Package will be done. The Package can then be used again.

  5. [!Important] If a Package is partially packed, closed, or shipped, the Colli Planning Line cannot be reset.

In each case, the Sales Line Massline is also deleted from the Sales Order. If the deleted Massline is the only Massline of a Sales Line, the Sales Line is deleted. If the Sales Order was released and the only Sales Line was deleted, the Sales Order is set to status “Open”. Otherwise it is set to status “Released” again. If the Sales Order is in a status other than “Open” or “Released”, it is also not possible to reset the Colli Planning Line, as other release processes have already been triggered and the Sales Order may not be changed during this time.
