Handling Cost Types

General

The handling cost types are used to represent and invoice each Handling (work effort) for packaging. Each handling can be defined and described as a separate cost type. This Cost Type can then be entered in the various inventory movement documents (e.g. packaging receipt, pacakging shipment, etc.) and invoiced transparently to the customer.

Setup

To create a handling cost type, enter Handling cost types in the search. A list of all cost types with description will appear. To add a cost type click on the action New. You can now enter a new code of your choice. After this you can enter a detailed description for the cost type.

Furthermore, you can fill cost price fields, if you work with Packaging projects. Cost prices are used to dynamically calculate the expected and actual cost amount. These are then assigned to the linked project and project task.

Note

The cost price fields refer to the different types of calculations that a price list uses to calculate the costs and prices of an incurred handling.
