Setup
1. Mollie Account
If you don't have a Mollie account yet, follow these steps:
Visit the Mollie Website and register for a new account.
Provide necessary information about your company; validation may take a few days.
Obtain the API Key from your Mollie Dashboard settings. Find more details here.
Tip
Test the Mollie Payment Service with the Test API Key before conducting live transactions.
2. Business Central (BC) Setup
Once you have the API Key, proceed with the Business Central setup:
Create a Mollie Payment Service in BC.
- Navigate to "Mollie Accounts" and click on New.
- Add a Name (this will be displayed in the documents).
- Input the API Key.
- Enable the Account.
- Optionally, activate the "Always Include on Documents" toggle for default inclusion on all documents.
Tip
You can add multiple Mollie Accounts.
Tip
By default, the integration uses the Mollie Logo, because Mollie allows for different Payment Providers like iDeal or PayPal. If you use Mollie only for one Payment Service, you can customize the layout by changing the logo in the Mollie Account Setup. All logos are available on the Mollie Website here.
