Set up pick-up devices

With this functionality, devices such as tablets or smartphones can be used to digitally capture the customer's signature during the pick-up process.

Register devices for the pick-up process

Before using the pick-up functionality, the device needs to be registered.

  1. Choose the Search icon, enter OnRoute Setup and then choose the related link.
  2. Use the Register Pick-up Device action.
  3. A window opens displaying a QR code and a configuration link.
  4. Scan the QR code using the device you want to register or open the configuration link directly in the browser on that device.
  5. The OnRoute website opens on the device. Enter a name for the device on the page and confirm.

Once the device is named and confirmed, it is successfully registered and ready to be used in the pick-up process. After registration, the device can be selected during a pick-up to display the relevant document to the customer for signature. Keep the https://onroute.acadon.de/WaitingScreen website open on the device to ensure it's always ready for the next pick-up.

Remove a registered pick-up device

If a device should no longer be used for the pick-up process, it can be deleted from the system.

  1. Choose the Search icon, enter OnRoute Setup and then choose the related link.
  2. Use the Delete Pick-up Device action.
  3. Select the device you want to remove from the list and press the OK button.
