Dynamic Disposition

The classic type of replenishment planning initiates a corresponding replenishment of the stock for each item sold on the basis of static parameters (minimum stock level, reorder level, etc.). However, this type of replenishment planning is not cost-optimal. For this reason, we have added an integrated, automatic, flexible, dynamic replenishment planning procedure to the Business Central standard.

This makes it possible to work with dynamic minimum stocks and dynamic lot sizes in the order proposal instead of static minimum stocks. The calculations are carried out according to Gudehus recommendations and formulas. Specifically, the reorder point procedure is used with cost-optimal replenishment quantities (Gudehus, p. 63). The procedure was adapted in cooperation with Reinhardt & Ahrens and provided with acadon's own additions.
