Lemontree Release

Thank you for exploring our Lemontree Release. In the following sections, we aim to provide you with an overview of the exciting new features enabled by this update.

The Release is available from August 2025.

Technical Details

The Lemontree Release is based on Microsoft Business Central Version 26. As a result, there are adjustments to the system requirements. Please refer to the complete list of system requirements for BC26.

Relevant changes compared to BC25:

Server Component

• A minimum of 16 GB Memory is now required compared to 8 GB in BC25.
• The required hard disk space is changed to 100 GB compared to 2 GB in BC25.

Database Component

• The compatibility level is now set to 160. Before it was 150 and 160.

Business Central 26

The Lemontree Version is based on Microsoft Business Central (BC) Version 26. This version introduces numerous new features for you to check out. You can find the full list here.

New MS Apps It is recommended to install the following apps, to use the full potential of the new External File Accounts Module:

• External File Storage - Azure File Service Connector
• External File Storage - Azure Blob Service Connector

New Features

In this section, we present a list of highlights. If you would like to check all timber changes, check out the complete changelog.

EUDR

All companies involved in importing, trading, or producing items containing timber are affected by the EUDR legislation. One requirement of the EUDR is to track the origin of timber within the supply chain using a reference number.

The first version of the EUDR App is now released. Compared to the beta, a lot of exiting new features were added.

• Added support for MultiPoint and MultiPolygon geojson-files.
• Added an Assisted Setup Wizard for EUDR to simplify the setup process for first-time users.
• Added reference tracking for Assembly Orders and Physical Inventory Orders.
• Added reference posting for Sales Return Orders and Purchase Return Orders, as well as Sales Invoices, Sales Credit Memos, Purchase Invoices and Purchase Credit Memos.
• Added the possibility to create references for existing inventory when activating the EUDR functionality.
• Added a validity check for reference numbers.

On Route

On Route provides features for streamlining delivery operations and communication, such as digitally signing delivery notes via a web based application.

In this release, On Route has been expanded significantly. The most exciting changes are:

• Added possibility to inform the receiver about the delivery minutes before delivery.
• Added support for the pick-up process.
• Added logic to select shipment(s) when creating a Complaint and multiple shipments were delivered at once.
• Added possibility to reorder Route Allocation Lines in the mobile client.

Setup Wizard

The OnBoarding Process for new customers can be challenging. To make this process easier, we have added a Setup Wizard. This Wizard will guide you through the initial setup of your environment. It will help you to configure the most important settings and get you started with Timber.

In this release, we have expanded the timber wizard with new settings. Furthermore, we have added the same process to the certification module.

• Added Production settings to the Setup Wizard.
• Added Logistics settings to the Setup Wizard.
• Added Tariff Numbers to the Setup Wizard.
• Added Material Groups to the Setup Wizard.

Other noteworthy Highlights:

• Manufacturing

  • Added prod. info factbox to the standard task planning.
  • Added information of the previous operation in to the standard task planning.
  • Added the scrap factor % to the prod. order routing group so that the correct expected qty. on components can be calculated.
  • Added the fields requested end promised delivery date to the standard task planning.

• Disposition and Route Planning

  • Added Service Time to Route Allocation Lines and unify "Service Time" / "Serviceduration (min)" field namings to "Service Time".
  • Added the possibility to deactivate the update of related documents when working with the disposition planning.
  • Added support for the pick-up process.
  • Added sales pick-up notification report and mail possibility.
  • Added Custom Route Calendar Fields for the Graphical Route Calendar.
  • Added the arrival time from and to in the dispatch information report.
  • Added a Zoom functionality to the Graphical Route Calendar.
  • Added the Route Calendar Setup and the possibility to exclude Weekends from the Route Calendar.

• Sales

  • Added dynamic decimal places for reserved quantity field in purchase sales and prod. order line pages.
  • Added My Quotes, My Activities, My Sales Visits and My Tasks to the sales order processor rolecenter.
  • Improved blocked customer handling to allow quotes to be created when a customer is blocked.

• Finance

  • Added new setup to fill "Your Reference" for combined shipment to enable sending these as e-documents.
  • Changed the logic when sending e-document and pdf so that the files are not zipped any more.

• New Features to activate

  • New EDI Feature "Move Processed Files" to move files instead of renaming them.

• Other

  • Added possibility to setup summarizing variants for reports.

Update Checklist

This is a major update and may contain breaking changes. Some of these changes require manual actions. Please carefully review this checklist for each environment before proceeding with the update.

Important

If you upgrade from earlier Versions, please read the update checklist/breaking changes of all versions that you skip as well. In this list you will only find the changes that are relevant if you update from Koa to Lemontree.

Required Actions

• Please make sure to check the permission sets if custom permission sets are used.
• Make sure that custom apps work with the new automatically activated features.
• Old Capion Management Codeunit "ACAT CaptionManagement Su" was removed: In this release the procedures to calculate Autoformat and CaptionClass are optimized to utilize platform caching and increase the overall performance. For CaptionClass the following procedures need to be changed:
  • New Logic can be found in MeasureCaptionClass: Codeunit "ACAT Measure Caption Class"
  • Use MeasureCaptionClass.DynamicCaption instead of MassMgt.DynamicCaption (Attention: Mass Calculation Code "Base" is no longer needed)
  • Use MeasureCaptionClass.DynamicCaptionLotParcel instead of MasslinesMgt.DynamicCaptionLotParcel

Recommended Actions

• It is recommended to change to File Accounts for EDI. However, please check the Known Issues
• Use Upcoming Features and provide Feedback. To do so, open the acadon Upcoming Features page and use the Enable action.
