Item Attribute as Dimension

The Item Attribute Dimension feature is a powerful tool designed for efficiently setting item attributes as item dimensions in a seamless manner. Currently, this functionality is applicable exclusively to attributes of type option.

Functionality

  1. The key setting for this lies on the item attribute card and list pages, under the Attribute as Dimension setting. Activating this setting for attributes of type option enables the functionality for when assigning the attribute to items.
  2. When adding an attribute tagged as dimension to a specific item, new dimensions and dimension values will be automatically created in the database. At the same time a dimension will be added to the item, with a value code corresponding to the selected option for the respective item attribute.
  3. Changing or removing an item attribute of type option that is marked as a dimension will automatically update the corresponding item dimensions.
